Thrive Movement Arts is the creation of Mychelle Crown, multi-award winning Bellydancer and Pilates/Fitness Instructor with a passion for mind and body wellness. Our collaborative space is home to a variety of fitness and artistic formats. Join us to work, heal, laugh, grow, and learn to love the body you are in.

We value your health and safety above all else. All students are required to accept our Relase of Liability Waiver before taking a class. Students are required to disclose if they are under medical supervision, have specific needs related to mobility limitations or injury rehab, are pregnant, or have an ongoing medical condition. Further, all students are required to cancel their class or session if showing any signs of illness, including but not limited to runny nose, cough, fever, chills, and so on.
At Thrive we pride ourselves on our clean, beautiful space. Our air is filtered with the latest filtration technology. All machines are cleaned by students after each use, and by staff at the end of each day. All shared spaces are held to meticulous standards. Please respect our space and keep our equipment neat and tidy.
Thrive Movement Arts is not responsible for missing or lost personal items, as outlined in our Liability Waiver. Personal items can be stored in our cubbies or in the employee area .
Thrive Movement Arts does not promise performance opportunities and/or paid performance opportunities to any student. All participation in performance is voluntary and at-will.

Rental Policies:
Licenses:
Thrive Movement Arts studio space is intended for movement-based work such as fitness, martial arts, dance or movement rehearsals, classes and workshops, etc. The studio will be licensed in blocks of time as follows: 1-hour minimum, 1-hour increments. Space may be booked via email or studio booking platform.
Rate Scale:
1+ hr Off-Time (weekdays and weekends between 10am-5pm): $30/hr
1+ hr Prime Time (weekday mornings between 6am-10am and evenings 5pm-9:30pm): $35/hr
4+ hr Single-Use Event: $25/hr
Payment:
Licensees will pay monthly from the start of the Licensing period. Single event Licensees must pay for studio space at or before the time it is used. Fees are paid through the booking software unless otherwise directed. Payment link will be provided.
License Term:
Licensing is offered in hourly or 1-12 month increments. At the end of contracted time, License reverts to Month-to-Month Agreement.

Scheduling:
Scheduling of regular weekly sessions must confirm their schedule at least one month in advance.
Refunds/Extensions/Substitutions:
Licensed time is paid on the 1st of each month and is non-refundable. $25 late fee applies after the 5th day of the month. Late fees increase to $25/day after the 6th day of the month. Licensed time is not extendable and is only able to be rescheduled in cases of emergency with consent from the owner. Licensee may send substitute instructor/person with owner’s consent if Licensee cannot attend the reserved time slot. Thrive Movement Arts reserves the right to temporarily cancel/change any single Licensed day due to uncontrollable circumstances, ie building maintenance or power outage, etc, as long as Licensee receives reasonable accommodation.
Cancellation Agreement:
Licensing Agreement may be canceled by Licensee via email. Licensee is required to give 30 full days notice to cancel rental prior to expiration of Contract or Licensee will be charged the next full month’s rent. 30 days notice is required to cancel a Month-to-Month agreement or Licensee will be charged the next full month’s rent. Violation of Licensing Agreement voids the Agreement, rendering all remaining rents due in full upon voiding of said Agreement.

Conditions:
-Smoking/Incense/Flames: No smoking anywhere inside the building. No incense or open flames of any sort.
-Stereo: A stereo system will be available for rehearsals, classes, and performances.
-Food/Drink: Water is allowed on the studio floor. Food is restricted to the employee area. Licensee and students can utilize the employee area, microwave, and mini-refrigerator during time of use. No food waste is to be left on the premises.
-Props: Props need to be constructed in such a way that they can cause no damage to the dance floor or studio space.
-Storage: Licensees may not leave any equipment, costumes, props or personal belongings anywhere in the studio, hallway, bathroom, or back rooms without permission from Owner or Studio Manager. Ongoing storage can be arranged individually for a small additional fee.
-Security: Each Licensee assumes responsibility for the security of the space during each rental period and must return the space to a secure state upon leaving by locking all doors. Thrive Movement Arts is not responsible for lost or stolen items during Licensee’s use of space.
-Energy: the HVAC system is on a timer. If temperature needs to be changed, the Licensee is responsible for putting the system back on the timer or power usage surcharges will apply. A/C is not to be set below 67 degrees Fahrenheit or power usage surcharges will apply.
-Emergencies: For any urgent issue that might compromise the structure or safety of the studio or the building please call the Thrive Movement Arts emergency contacts. For accidents, health crises, criminal activities, fire, etc, call 911.
-Damage: Each Licensee will assume full responsibility for any damage caused to any part of the entryway, studio, back rooms, bathroom, stereo equipment, floors, windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, etc. sustained during the Licensee’s scheduled studio time. Each Licensee agrees to pay in full for repair or replacement of any item or structure damaged by the renters or by performers, collaborators, or guests invited to Thrive Movement Arts by the Licensee. Full payment for damage will be made within one month of the damage.
-Cameras: Licensee is aware that there are cameras on the premises for security purposes and agree to be temporarily recorded while in the main studio teaching space, while privacy is assured in all bathrooms, changing areas, etc.
-Liability: Licensee assumes full responsibility and liability for the safety and conduct of any persons they invite or allow into the space, including but not limited to students, performers, collaborators, guests, or audience members. Licensee agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thrive Movement Arts, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to the use of the space by Licensee or any persons invited by Licensee.
-Housekeeping: Each Licensee assumes responsibility for returning the studio to a good state before they leave. All lights, heater(s), air conditioner and electrical equipment must be turned off. Trash and litter must be removed to the garbage can. Please sweep if necessary, and leave the studio in clean condition for the next class.
-Contracts: Licensees will sign this contract before using Thrive Movement Arts studio space.
-Future Policy Changes: Thrive Movement Arts reserves the right to change the above licensing policies at any time to reflect the needs and concerns of the studio, building, community, and resident companies. Licensees will be informed of changes to licensing policies and will be accommodated for any disruption of Licensee’s schedule by offering alternate time/day/space for Licensee’s use.
