"I have had so much fun learning to belly dance with Adriana at Thrive Movement Arts. The studio is beautiful and Adriana is such a great instructor. I can't wait to take more classes!"
"I really, really enjoyed the Competition Series for bellydancers. It taught me more about musicality and what type of moves to choose for different parts of the song. It’s truly invaluable information and I loved the class!! Mychelle….Thank you so much!!"
"I want to say thank you to Mychelle Crown and Thrive Movement Arts for helping with my dance journey. The musicality workshops and competition training definitely paid off!! If you’re looking for fun classes or more serious training, this is a wonderful studio with great teachers! Thank you again for your advice and mentorship."
"Thrive Movement Arts is a beautiful studio ran by beautiful people. Mychelle is an encouraging and creative coach. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience. The classes are supportive of any age, size, and fitness level. I have taken her various levels of Bellydance courses, as well as a competition training. This training was invaluable to me and pushed me to be a more professional and technical dancer. During the course, she partnered with Cynthia from Flowers of the Nile, to teach Egyptian rhythms and drum patterns. I learned so much about how music is structured and created by a live band. Both Adriana and Mychelle are responsive to feedback and take the time to tailor classes/trainings to your individual needs. This is my home studio and am so incredibly proud to call it home."
"Mychelle's competition training class series is so effective!!! She really covers all the bases from tip to toe - from music to costuming to scoring sheets and everything else. I also really appreciate the practical exercises like practicing our dances with distractions to test your focus & ability to think on our feet. There is so much information in the series that even on the 2nd go through of the series I still picked up a lot of new information. And I’m proud to say the course gives results! I got 3rd place in a major competition after never even making finals for years!"
